Dr. Ambedkar College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Chandrapur is run by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Memorial Society, Chandrapur. This Society was formed on 21st June 1970 by Late Bar. Rajbhau Khobragade. The College is situated on the sacred “Deeksha Bhoomi” in the heart of Chandrapur city where about 3 lac followers of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar converted to Buddhism on 16th Oct 1956.
