SBI’s NCMC Feature:
- The NCMC function enables SBI customers to use their Debit Cards as travel cards on Metro Rail and Buses wherever this service is available.
- The concept of NCMC was proposed by the Nandan Nilekani committee, which was commissioned by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
- NCMC is a project supported by India’s Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs that aims to promote cashless transactions and provide commuters with a uniform payment platform. On March 4, 2019, this programme was formally launched.
- Operating on the RuPay platform, developed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), NCMC offers a comprehensive contactless transport solution.

His father Anand Singh Bisht was a junior forest officer and his mother Savitri Devi was a housewife.
Since childhood, Ajay was fond of taking care of the family, and cows, listening to stories of freedom fighters and participating in school debates. They all lived in a small house in a remote village named Panchur, presently in Uttarakhand. Ajay went on to become the Mahant of Gorakhnath Math before becoming the youngest member of the Indian Parliament and the Chief Minister of the country’s most populous state, Uttar Pradesh.

This chamber is reinforced with a 30 mm cement block, providing a stable foundation for the electrical transformers. This revolutionary centre, located 10 feet below the road’s surface, sets new norms in electricity delivery. While BESCOM is in charge of the electrical aspects, the BBMP is in charge of the civil works. The station includes a 500 KVA capacity oil-free transformer, an 8-way solid-state ring main unit, a 5-way LT distribution box, UPS, a water pump, and an air control system. BBMP contributed Rs 64 lakh to fund the civil works, and the entire project was completed in just 365 days.
