Salary of A is 40% more than the Salary of B and Salary of B is 1.5 times the Salary of C. If one third of difference between the salary of A and C is 4400, find the salary of B?

Let salary of C = 10a

Salary of B = 1.5 x 10a = 15a

Salary of A = 140% of 15a = 21a

According to question,

1/3 x (21a – 10a) = 4400

11a = 4400 x 3

a = 1200

Salary of B = 15 x 1200 = Rs. 18000
