The average number of sold items from Shop A and Shop B together is 260 and the average number of unsold items from Shop A and Shop B is 290 and the ratio of sold items from Shop A and Shop B is 27:25. Find the total number of items in Shop B, if the total number of items in Shop A is 500.

Shop B = 260 * 2 = 520

Total number of sold items from Shop A = 520 *

27/52 = 270

Total number of sold items from Shop B = 520 *

25/52 = 250

270 = 230

Total number of unsold items in Shop B =

(290*2) – 230 = 350

Total number of items in Shop B = 250 + 350 =

600
