Sol:

Milk in 20 litres = 3/5 * 20 = 12 litres

Water in 20 litres = 2/5 * 20 = 8 litres

(3x – 12)/(2x – 8 + 24) = 1/2

2x + 16 = 6x – 24

x = 10 litres
