Educational Qualification for Enforcement inspector (El) under the Transport Department
- Candidate must have passed a Degree in Arts/ Science or Commerce of a University recognized by the Govt, of Assam or H.S,S,L,C with 3 (three) three-year Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute of Govt, of Assam/ Govt. of India and also duly recognized by AICTE.
Age Limit:- Candidates age should not be less than 21 years and not more than 38 years as on 01.01.2024
The upper age limit is relaxable:
(i) Within 5 years for SC/ST candidates i.e. up to 43 years.
(ii) For OBC/MOBC candidates within 3 years i, e. Up to 41 years as per govt. Notification No. ABP. 6/2016/9 dated Dispur the 25th April 2018.
(iii) For Ex-servicemen, the maximum age limit shall be 50 (fifty) years as of 01.01.2024 for the unreserved category, relaxable by 3 (three) years for oBC/ MOBC candidates and 5 (five) years for SC/ ST. As per Govt Candidate Notification No. ABP. 48/2009/84 dated the 19th December, 2022.
