National Small Industry Day is an annual celebration to recognises the value of small industries in our society.
Every year on August 30, the country celebrates National Small Industry Day.
On August 30, 2000, a comprehensive policy package for the SSI sector was launched in India, to provide support to small firms in India.
The UN General Assembly has declared June 27 as the MSME Day to enhance public awareness of the contribution of MSMEs in the global economy
