Union Minister has inaugurated a 3-day workshop titled as ‘Aadhaar 2.0- Ushering the Next Era of Digital Identity and Smart Governance’ at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. It will also be telecast live on YouTube, Twitter and Facebook handles of UIDAI.

The government of India, Andhra Pradesh, and the World Bank has signed the legal agreements for $250 million for a project to improve the quality of learning for over 50 lakh students in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Students from all grades and stages of school education will benefit from the project.

On 23rd November 2021, The Coal, Mines, and Parliamentary Affairs Union Minister Pralhad Joshi has inaugurated the E-portal of an accreditation scheme for Mineral exploration.
The portal was inaugurated at the 5th National Conclave on Mines and Minerals in New Delhi.
The first-ever national conclave on Mines and Minerals was held at Raipur in 2016. Joshi also presented awards to 5-star rated mines for sustainable mining practices and all-around performance. He also handed over of 52 Geological Survey of India (GSI) approved mine blocks to 15 State Government.
The US space agency NASA has launched a mission to smash a spacecraft into an asteroid — the world’s first to test asteroid-deflecting technology. The space probe will crash into the asteroid to alter its speed and course. The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket carrying the DART experiment lifted off at 10:21 pm Pacific Time from Vandenberg Space Force Base near California in the US, NASA TV’s live stream showed. DART stands for Double Asteroid Redirection Test.
The $325 million DART mission was launched into orbit on November 24, 2021 from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California atop a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. The mission aims to test asteroid-deflecting technology. The purpose of the mission is to crash a space probe into the asteroid so as to alter its speed and course so prevent it from hitting the Earth.

The SDG Urban Index and Dashboard ranks 56 urban areason 77 SDG indicators across 46 targets of the SDG framework. Shimla tops the Index followed by Coimbatore, Chandigarh, Thiruvananthapuram

Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), a flagship initiative of Niti Aayog announced a collaboration with Vigyan Prasar, an autonomous organization of the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India to drive synergies between AIM’s Atal Tinkering Labs (ATL) and Vigyan Prasar’s unique interactivity platform, Engage With Science (EWS).
Engage with Science: It will onboard all 9200+ ATL-enabled schools and engage their students, teachers and Principals in perennial activities. It will lead to accumulation of points based on which certificates and incentives will be provided.
JP Morgan Chase has topped the 2021 list of globally systemic banks (G-SIBs) released by the Financial Stability Board (FSB).
The updated G-Sib list, published on November 23 by the Financial Stability Board, saw JP Morgan rise to the fourth ‘bucket’, implying a capital surcharge of 2.5% of risk-weighted assets. It is the only bank in the bucket. The fifth and highest bucket, with a capital surcharge of 3.
In total 30 banks have been identified as globally systemic banks (G-SIBs) by FSB. These 30 banks are divided into four “buckets”.

Indian-born American economist & Nobel laureate, Abhijit Banerjee has authored a new book (cookbook) titled “Cooking to Save your Life”. The book illustrated by France based illustrator Cheyenne Oliver is published by Juggernaut Books. Abhijit Banerjee is a professor of Economics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
He won the 2019 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences jointly with Esther Duflo and Michael Kemer for their experimental approach to alleviating global poverty.
Sweden’s Prime Minister-elect Magdalena Andersson on November 24, 2021 handed in her resignation hours after being appointed by parliament, after her budget failed to pass and the junior Green Party quit the coalition government. She will replace incumbent Prime Minister Stefan Lofven. Magdalena Andersson is the current Finance Minister of the country.

Alexander Zverev outplayed defending champion Daniil Medvedev to beat him for the first time in two years and win his second ATP Finals title. The 24-year-old German world number three, who had lost to the Russian second seed in the group stage, turned the tables to win 6-4 6-4, in the men’s single finals to clinch the 2021 ATP Finals title on November 21, 2021, held at Turin in Italy. This is Zverev’s second Nitto ATP Finals title, after winning the first in 2018.
