Let the distance between points P and Q = X km

Speed downstream = 6 + 4= 10 km/hr

Speed upstream = 6 – 4 = 2 km/hr

Time= Distance/Speed

So, as per quwstion;

x/10 + x/2 = 6 hours

x+5x/10 = 6

6x = 60

x = 10 km
