Option | 8 km | incorrect |
Option | 9 km | incorrect |
Option | 10 km | correct |
Option | 11 km | incorrect |
Let the distance between points P and Q = X km
Speed downstream = 6 + 4= 10 km/hr
Speed upstream = 6 – 4 = 2 km/hr
Time= Distance/Speed
So, as per quwstion;
x/10 + x/2 = 6 hours
x+5x/10 = 6
6x = 60
x = 10 km
