Amazon’s AWS ties up with ISRO to advance its AI capabilities: Cloud behemoth Amazon Web Services has signed a strategic MoU with the ISRO and Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre (IN-SPACe) to support space-tech innovations through cloud computing.

Aim: To enable the space industry to make better decisions, faster – pushing the boundaries of possibilities, and AWS is committed to help startups identify use cases and accelerate solution development.

Supporting the Space Startup Ecosystem:

ISRO, IN-SPACe, and AWS will collaborate to foster and expand the startup community within the space-tech sector. AWS will extend support to eligible space startups through the AWS Activate program, offering tools, resources, and expert technical assistance at no cost. This support aims to accelerate the development and commercialization of innovative space solutions. Additionally, startups will gain access to AWS’s global expertise in building aerospace and satellite solutions through the AWS Space Accelerator program.
