Amit Shah lays foundation stone of ‘Balidan Stambh’ in Srinagar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the construction of ‘Balidan Stambh’ in Jammu and Kashmir’s Srinagar on 24 June.

The opening ceremony took place at a park near Lal Chowk, the commercial centre of Srinagar. The ‘Sacrifice Pillar’ is a monument that is being built as part of the Srinagar Smart City project. The memorial’s goal is to honour the valiant warriors who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
