Arunachal Pradesh CM inaugurates Shar Nyima Tsho Sum Namyig Lhakhang: The freshly rebuilt Shar Nyima Tsho Sum Namyig Lhakhang (Gonpa) at Gyangkhar, his native hamlet in Tawang district, was opened by Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu. The Gonpa has great historical significance for the well-being of humans, particularly for the people of Shar Nyima Tsho Sum and all Buddhists in general.

The 11th and 12th century Gonpa was on the point of collapse, but it has now been rebuilt and all of the appropriate rites and blessings have been conducted to return it to its former splendour.
