Arunachal Pradesh MLA Jambey Tashi passes away: Arunachal Pradesh MLA Jambe Tashi passed away after illness. He was 48 years old. Tashi was the sitting MLA of Lumla Assembly constituency in Tawang district.He was holding the post of Advisor to the Planning and Investment Minister of the state. He died in a hospital in Guwahati.

About the Jambey Tashi:
Born on October 7, 1974, Tashi was actively involved in social work from the beginning and in 2001 became a member of the Anchal Samiti. He was elected to the legislative assembly from his home constituency Lumla in 2009 unopposed and was appointed as Chairman State Medicinal Plants Board till 2011 and later became Parliamentary Secretary for Civil Aviation. He was re-elected to the Assembly for a second term and became Parliamentary Secretary.
During the 2019 assembly elections, he won the seat from Lumla for the third term. Tashi is survived by his wife, two daughters and one son. Deputy Chief Minister, Chowna Mein expressed extreme shock and sorrow on the sudden demise of Lumla MLA.
