Daily Current Affairs Quiz: September 2023
Six teams in India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nepal and defending champions Sri Lanka will tussle for a place in the final. A total of 13 matches are slated to be played, and the format is as simple as it gets. Four of the six teams will advance to the Super 4s, where the top two will compete for the title in the final.
The road to the Super 4s and the final will be determined by the number of points each team earns during the course of the tournament. The six teams will be divided into two groups of three, with India, Pakistan, and Nepal in Group A and Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan in Group B. Each team will be awarded two points for a win and one point for a loss, with the two points split into one each in the event of a tie. The points-table will also feature the deal-breaker of the net run-rate, which will come into effect when teams are deadlocked with the same number of points.
