Educational Qualification:
i) Passed Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science / Community Science
ii) Secured minimum 55% marks or minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (MCGPA) of 3.00 in 4 point scale or 7.00 in 10 point scale at the Master’s Degree level in relevant discipline from an Indian University or foreign university
iii) PhD Degree in any field of concerned discipline
iv) A minimum of 10 years of service experience (excluding the period spent in obtaining PhD degree) in teaching / research / extension, out of which minimum 5 years as Associate Professor or equivalent in a university or research / extension institution.
v) The candidate must have published at least 10 publications (research paper, book, chapter of book, review paper, monograph)
vi) A minimum score (44 out of 80) as stipulated in the ‘Academic Performance Indicator’ based ‘Performance Appraisal System’ prescribed for Direct Recruitment in AAU (Score Card no. DP-1) to be called for interview.

Educational Qualification:

Associate Professor (Other than Agrometeorology ):

i) Passed Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science / Fisheries Science / Community Science / Agricultural Engineering as relevant to the requirement of post
ii) Secured minimum 55% marks or minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (MCGPA) of 3.00 in 4 point scale or 7.00 in 10 point scale at the Master’s Degree level in relevant discipline from an Indian University or foreign university
iii) PhD Degree in any field of concerned discipline
iv) A minimum of 8 years of service experience (excluding the period spent in obtaining PhD degree) in teaching / research / extension as Jr. Scientist/ Assistant Professor or equivalent in a university or research / extension institution.
v) The candidate must have published at least 5 publications (research paper, book, chapter of book, review paper, monograph) in the entire period as Jr. Scientist or equivalent
vi) A minimum score (44 out of 80) as stipulated in the ‘Academic Performance Indicator’ based ‘Performance Appraisal System’ prescribed for Direct Recruitment in AAU  to be called for interview.

Associate Professor ( Agrometeorology ):

i) Passed Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics or Meteorology as the major subject OR Passed Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture
ii) Secured minimum 55% marks or minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (MCGPA) of 3.00 in 4 point scale or 7.00 in 10 point scale at the Master’s Degree level in Meteorology / Agricultural Meteorology from an Indian University or foreign university
iii) PhD Degree in any field of concerned discipline
iv) A minimum of 8 years of service experience (excluding the period spent in obtaining PhD degree) in teaching / research / extension as Jr. Scientist/ Assistant Professor or equivalent in a university or research / extension institution.
v) The candidate must have published at least 5 publications (research paper, book, chapter of book, review paper, monograph) in the entire period as Jr. Scientist or equivalent
vi) A minimum score (44 out of 80) as stipulated in the ‘Academic Performance Indicator’ based ‘Performance Appraisal System’ prescribed for Direct Recruitment in AAU  to be called for interview.

i)  Passed Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture / Veterinary Science / Fisheries / Community Science /Sericulture, as relevant to the requirement of the post.  For the post of Assistant Professor in Sericulture, the essential qualification is Bachelor’s degree in either Sericulture or Agriculture
ii) Secured minimum 55% marks or minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (MCGPA) of 3.00 in 4 point scale or 7.00 in 10 point scale at the Master’s Degree level in relevant disciplines from an Indian University or foreign university
iii)Qualified National Eligibility Test (NET)

Assistant Professor ( Agril. Statistics):

i)  Passed Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Statistics as a major subject OR Passed Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture/ Veterinary Science / Community Science / Fisheries / Forestry
ii) Secured minimum 55% marks or minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (MCGPA) of 3.00 in 4 point scale or 7.00 in 10 point scale at the Master’s Degree level in relevant disciplines from an Indian University or foreign university
iii)Qualified National Eligibility Test (NET)

Assistant Professor ( Agrometeorology):
