About College:
Bhadrak Institute of Engineering & Technology (BIET) in Odisha, India, was established in the year 1982 as a Diploma Institute with the initiative of some prominent citizens, academicians and politicians and support from the Government of Orissa. The Degree Engineering Courses started in the year 1997, M.C.A. Courses in M.B.A. courses in 2002 and the I.T.I. Courses in 2000. BIET is a life member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE). Also there is an ISTE student`s chapter, which conducts seminars / workshops and other related activities from time to time. The Institute is located at Barapada, about 8 km away from Bhadrak town and 140 km away from Bhubaneswar to Calcutta on NH – 5, away from the town`s polluting and noisy environment of the town to provide an ideal academic atmosphere.
