A prominent feature of Bharat Mandapam is the monumental bronze statue of Nataraja, standing at a towering height of 27 feet. This sculpture, made of Ashtadhatu and weighing roughly 18 tonnes, is a work of art by renowned sculptor Radhakrishnan Sthapaty, who hails from Swami Malai in Tamil Nadu. He astonishingly created this magnificent masterpiece in under seven months.
