Debashish Mukerji has come out with A new book based on the life of Vishwanath Pratap Singh titled “The Disruptor: How Vishwanath Pratap Singh Shook India”, is to be released on December 08, 2021.

Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports Shri Anurag Thakur conferred the first ever SAI Institutional Awards to 246 athletes and coaches on November 17, 2021, in New Delhi in the presence of the Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports Shri NisithPramanik. Secretary of Department of Sports Smt. Sujata Chaturvedi, DG SAI Shri Sandip Pradhan, and other officials of the Ministry were also present on this occasion.
From the total 246 awardees, 162 athletes and 84 coaches were honored in the Outstanding Award and Best Award category. The awards have been given for the exceptional performance of the SAI athletes and coaches at national and international competitions from 2016 under the various sports promotion schemes.

India’s first ‘grass conservatory’ spread over an area of two acres was inaugurated on November 14, 2021 at Ranikhet in Almora district. Funded under the Central Government’s CAMPA (Compensatory Afforestation Fund Management and Planning Authority) scheme, the conservatory was developed in three years by the research wing of Uttarakhand Forest Department, Chief Conservator of Forest (research) Sanjiv Chaturvedi said.
The “Germplasm Conservation Centre” has been built by the research wing of the Uttarakhand Forest Department over an area of 2 acres in three years.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 82nd All India Presiding Officers Conference (AIPOC) in Shimla on November 17, 2021. While inaugurating the conference, the PM said democracy is not just a system for India. Democracy is ingrained in our nature and part of life in India.

The WePOWER India Partnership Forum, held through a virtual platform on November 9, 2021, launched the efforts to scale up the South Asia Women in Power Sector Professional Network (WePOWER) in India.
The event was organized by the World Bank and Asian Development Bank (ADB) in partnership with the India Smart Grid Forum (ISGF). The objective of the forum was to scale up the South Asia Women in Power Sector Professional Network (WePOWER) in India.
This important initiative was attended by 168 key energy sector stakeholders. The WePOWER was launched in February 2019 jointly by the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

The Centre has approved new Rajya Sainik Board for Ladakh, which will be an effective link between the Centre and Ladakh Administration.
Rajya Sainik Board will play an advisory role on the matters relating to the ex-servicemen, war widows, widows, and non-combatants, including serving soldiers and their dependents. Zilasainik welfare offices of Leh and Kargil will function under the newly constituted Rajya Sainik Board. It provides access to the welfare schemes under Raksha Mantri Ex-servicemen Welfare Fund.

Every year, National Naturopathy Day is observed on 18th November in India. The main objective of this day is to promote positive mental and physical health through a drugless system of medicine, called Naturopathy.
The day was declared by the Ministry of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy), Government of India, on November 18, 2018. This day also marks the day when Mahatma Gandhi became lifetime Chairman of the All India Nature Cure Foundation Trust and signed the deed with the object of making the benefits of Nature Cure available to all classes of people in the year 1945.
