Desh Bhagat University (DBU) is a privately-funded institution of higher
education and research at Mandi Gobindgarh in Punjab’s Fatehgarh Sahib
district. It is named after Shri Lal Singh who fought for Indian independence.
Established as Desh Bhagat Group of Institutes in 1972, the institution emerged
into a university in the year 1996. The university also operates its campuses
in Moga, Chandigarh, Shri Muktsar Sahib and Kenya.
