Export of 1.2 MT of fresh jackfruit from Tripura to London
A shipment of 1.2 metric tonnes of fresh jackfruit was exported from Tripura to London, in a major step towards harnessing exports potential of agricultural and processed food products from north-eastern region.

Jackfruit is a species of tree in the fig, mulberry, and breadfruit family (Moraceae). It is a multiple fruit, composed of hundreds to thousands of individual flowers, and the fleshy petals are eaten.
