Goldman Sachs projects India’s GDP at 9.1% in FY22

Goldman Sachs on November 23 forecast India’s GDP to grow to 9.1% year-on-year in 2022 from 8% in 2021, following a sharp contraction of 7% in 2020, driven by consumption. Earlier this was estimated at 11.1 percent.

Goldman Sachs pegged the economy to grow at 8 percent in Calendar Year 2021 and 9.1 percent in Calendar Year 2022.
