Government Girls Polytechnic – Lucknow was established in the year of 1963 with three diploma courses. At the time of its start this was the only polytechnic in the state for imparting technical education to women and to develop their personality. Government Girls Polytechnic – Lucknow has 95428.15 square meters of constructed floor area for 13 class rooms, 08 drawing halls, 16 laboratories,1 mechanical workshop, library, administrative building and building and building for student amenities.
