Govt. Girls Polytechnic Raipur was established in 1987 by the virtue of World Bank Scheme. Before this, the organization was named as ‘Govt. Technical High School’. After this, special steps for the betterment of women in the field of technical knowledge and to lift up their technical skills, Govt. Girl’s Polytechnic, Raipur came into existence. The organization is connected with the Mumbai-Howrah, South-Eastern Central Railway.
