G R T Institute of Engineering and Technology is a part of GRT Group of Educational Institutions. The group is managed and run by SRDR Trust. The founder of the SRDR Trust is Shri. G. Rajendran, a prominent person in the jewel industry , whose contributions earned him many awards. GRTIET was established in 2009. The infrastructure of the college is of global standards and the institute has a built-in area of 27.43 acres.
