
HDFC Bank, in partnership with the Indian Army and CSC Academy, has renewed its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance Project NAMAN. This initiative focuses on providing support to Army veterans, their families, and their next of kin. Under this agreement, Common Service Centres (CSCs) will be established at 26 Directorate of Indian Army Veterans (DIAV) locations, delivering crucial pension services, Government-to-Citizen (G2C) services, and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) services at defense establishments. This initiative is part of HDFC Bank’s Parivartan programme, which aims to promote economic inclusiveness for veterans and their families.

Phase-Wise Expansion
First Phase (September 2023)
- 14 DIAV locations were selected for the initial launch of Common Service Centres (CSCs).
Second Phase (March 2025)
- The project expands to 26 DIAV locations across:
- Rajasthan, West Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Meghalaya, Bihar, Odisha, and New Delhi.
Impact & Benefits
The new CSC centers will provide,
• Training in financial literacy and skill development for veterans and their families.
• Help with accessing government programs and financial products.
• Guidance towards achieving financial independence.
• Financial Support: Those managing the CSCs will be provided with a monthly grant for 12 months to help sustain their operations.
