ICICI Bank signs pact with BNP Paribas: To meet the banking needs of European businesses doing business in India and Indian businesses doing business in the European Union, ICICI Bank and BNP Paribas have signed an initial agreement. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two entities establishes a framework of a partnership between the two banks for providing financial services to corporate customers operating in the India, Europe corridor, private sector lender ICICI Bank said in a statement.

India is poised to spearhead global growth in the near future as the fifth-largest economy in the world and a country with a strong focus on becoming a hub for regional manufacturing.
