Gotabaya Rajapaksa won presidential election in Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka’s Election Commission released the final result where Rajapaksa secured victory with 52.25% of the vote. Rajapaksa is to take oath as President of Sri Lanka on 18 November in a ceremony in the central town of Anuradhapura.
