About Institute
The Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad was established in the year 2008. It is one of eight new IITs that have been established under the new institute of technology amendment act by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development. It was ranked 9th in engineering colleges category and 22nd in the overall category by the NIRF 2018 rankings released by the MHRD.
