Government of Chhattisgarh has launched a new scheme “Indira Van Mitan Yojana” under which many works will be done for the development of forest dwellers in the state. The main objective of this new scheme is to make the forest dwellers happy and the villages of Vananchal self-supporting in the state.

Under Indira Van Mitan Yojana, through the formation of groups of youth in 10,000 villages of tribal area of Chhattisgarh state, all the forest-based economic activity through them
Under this new scheme of the state of Chhattisgarh, the system of procurement, processing and marketing of forest produce will be ensured only through the groups formed.
Through these groups to be formed under the scheme, the self-employment of the forest dwellers and their prosperity will be opened through new ones.
