ISRO scientist N Valarmathi, voice behind Chandrayaan-3 countdown, passes away: N Valarmathi, an Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) scientist, who lent her voice to countdowns for rocket launches in Sriharikota, died after a cardiac arrest. She was last heard during the countdown to the launch of Chandrayaan-3, which made a historic landing on the Moon. Chandrayaan-3 was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota on July 14. Chandrayan 3 was her final countdown announcement.
