Jyothi becomes 1st Indian woman to clock sub-13 seconds in 100m hurdles : Jyothi Yarraji (23), representing Railways, has created history by becoming the first Indian woman to clock a legal sub-13 second time in 100-meter hurdles.

She has smashed her own record at the 61st National Open Athletics Championships at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium, Bengaluru. Her record of 12.82s made her amongst the top 10 fastest in Asian athletics history. She had won the same event in the National Games in Gandhinagar in a time of 12.79 seconds.
