About Institute

K.G. Engineering Institute, established in 1922, is one of the oldest government polytechnic located at the heart of Bishnupur in Bankura district, W.B. This institute was establishes as a small Industrial School set up in 1922. Later it was converted to a full-fledged polytechnic in 1949.
