Beloved Lord Krishna was born on Ashtami Tithi (eighth day) of Krishna Paksha (Waning Moon) in the month of Bhadrapada. This year, Janmashatmi is being celebrated today i.e., September 6, 2023 or September 7.

Who is Lord Krishna?
Krishna is not just a God, he is the soul in every human being. He is the one who came to rescue Draupadi when she just prayed him to save her from Cheer Charan. He forgive the enemies many times as he forgave Shishupaal but once he crossed the limits, Lord Krishna killed him with his Sudarshan Chakra.
