Legendary player AB de Villiers announces retirement from all forms of cricket
Former South Africa captain AB de Villiers has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on November 19, 2021.
De Villiers had quit international cricket in May 2018, sending shockwaves around the cricket fraternity at the time, but had continued to play his trade in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and other T20 competitions around the globe. However, AB de Villiers was still playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), ever since joining the franchise in 2011. He had scored 4491 runs from 28 matches for RCB.
