Indian National Congress
The Indian National Congress was formed in 1885. The first president of the Indian National Congress was Mr. Womesh Chunder Bonnerjee. The sessions of the Indian National Congress were held at the gap of a year. In this article, we have published a list of all the sessions of the Indian national congress before the Indian Independence. The founders of the Indian National Congress were Allan Octavian Hume, Dadabhai Naoroji, and Dinshaw Edulji Wacha. It was the first modern nationalist movement to emerge in the British Empire in Asia and Africa.
The first session of the Indian National Congress was held in 1885 in Bombay from 28th Dec to 31st of December. The first president of the National Congress was Mr Womesh Chandra Bonnerjee in which 72 delegates participated. In this article, we have included a list of Indian National Congress sessions, with location and the president of the session.
