National Voters Day is observed on 25 January to highlight the importance of voting and every vote. This day is marks as the foundation of the Election Commission of India. This day was first celebrated in 2011 to encourage young voters to take part in the electoral process. The theme of National Voters Day 2020 is “Electoral Literacy for Stronger Democracy”.
