About Institute
Nimra Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) was located just 17 KM from the traditional city of Vijayawada on the main NH 09 Vijayawada-Hyderabad Highway. This college was affiliated to Jawarharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada, approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. NIST today imparts Full-time education and training in 06 branches of engineering at under Graduate level (UG) with an intake of 600 yearly offering B.Tech. Degree programs are offered 06 Post Graduate (PG) courses with an intake of 246. It is the first minority institution to offer Aeronautical Engineering in Andhra Pradesh.
