PM Modi and His Excellency Benjamin Netanyahu discussed the potential areas where the countries could expand their cooperation in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, including research and development (R&D) efforts in the fields of vaccines, therapeutics, and diagnostics.
The leaders agreed to maintain the ongoing exchanges between expert teams of both countries.
The leaders discussed the bilateral agenda. They agreed that the post-COVID-19 pandemic, the countries would create opportunities for mutually beneficial partnerships in many areas.
The leaders also assessed scope to expand India-Israel collaboration in areas like health technology, agricultural innovation, defence-cooperation, and information technology.
They agreed to share assessments and consult each other on the emerging opportunities and challenges in the changing global scenario.
