Former captain Rahul Dravid has been appointed as the head coach of the Indian men’s cricket team by the BCCI. Recently, he applied for the job formally, after the BCCI invited applications, and his appointment was a foregone conclusion.
The former right-handed batsman has been appointed for a period of two years till the 2023 50-over World Cup.
He will take charge in the upcoming home series against New Zealand, starting with the T20Is from November 17 in Jaipur.
