Rohit Jawa becomes new MD and CEO of Hindustan Unilever: Rohit Jawa took charge as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL). He has taken the place of Sanjiv Mehta who retired after the company’s annual general meeting.
Shareholders approved the proposal to appoint Jawa as a Whole Time Director as well as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of HUL. He will receive an annual remuneration of Rs 21.43 crore and will also get a sum of Rs 4.83 crore as allowances in FY24.
Before this appointment, Jawa was the Chief of Transformation for Unilever in London. Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL):
