India’s Sania Mirza and her Chinese partner Zhang Shuai won the women’s doubles title in the women’s doubles final at the Ostrava Open in Ostrava, Czech Republic. The 2nd-seeded pairing won the final, 6-3, 6-2 against third seeds Kaitlyn Christian (US) and Erin Routliffe (New Zealand).
The Indo-Chinese duo of Sania Mirza and Shuai Zhang clinched the women’s double’s title at the 2021 Ostrava Open WTA 500 tournament in the Czech Republic on September 26, 2021. This is the 43rd WTA doubles title win for former World No.1 Sania Mirza.
This was Sania’s second final of the season, following a runner-up finish at the WTA 250 leveland event in the US last month with Christina Mchale.
