A Tribute to Ramanujan – Annual Awards on His Birthday

The SASTRA-Ramanujan Awards, with a commendable cash prize of USD 10,000 and a citation, are presented annually on the birthday of the legendary Indian mathematician, Srinivasa Ramanujan. This year, the recipients were acknowledged for their outstanding work in mathematics, carrying on the tradition of honoring brilliance on Ramanujan’s special day.

Awardees’ Acknowledgment – Commemorative Lectures and Gratitude

Yunqing Tang and Ruixiang Zhang, the deserving awardees, delivered the Ramanujan birth anniversary commemorative lectures. Expressing their gratitude, they thanked SASTRA for recognizing their contributions in areas influenced by Ramanujan. The mathematicians were particularly thrilled to visit the Ramanujan house in Kumbakonam, meticulously maintained by SASTRA, and the Ramanujan Museum.
