
Indian squash legend Saurav Ghosal has made a remarkable comeback from retirement by winning the Octane Sydney Classic title. The former World No. 10 had stepped away from the Professional Squash Association (PSA) Tour in April 2023 but consistently voiced his wish to represent India. On January 1, 2025, he re-entered the PSA Tour, keeping his dreams alive. In a commanding display, the 38-year-old second seed defeated Egypt’s Abdelrahman Nasser in straight sets in the final to secure the title.
