The Sali River, a significant tributary of the Damodar River, plays a crucial role in draining the northern region of Bankura district in the Indian state of West Bengal. It originates a few miles west of Kora hill, located between Mejia and Bankura, and ultimately joins the Damodar at Somsar village in Indas police station. This river is primarily fed by rainfall.
