
Ambassador of India to the Philippines, Harsh Kumar Jain, inaugurated a statue of famous Tamil saint-poet and philosopher Thiruvalluvar in Gullas College of Medicine (GCM), Cebu on February 17, 2025. The unveiling ceremony was held as part of the celebrations on the 75th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between India and the Philippines. The celebration was attended by dignitaries including former Philippine President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, senior official, diplomats and members of Indian diaspora.
