US suspends all trade engagement with Myanmar

United States is immediately suspending all engagement with Myanmar under a 2013 trade and investment agreement until the return of a democratically elected government.

A one-year state of emergency has been imposed and democratically elected leader Aung San Suu Kyi has been detained.
