The Andhra Pradesh government has introduced ‘Mana Mitra’, a unique WhatsApp Governance initiative that allows access to 161 civil services through WhatsApp. Nara Lokesh, the Minister for IT, Electronics & Communication, and Real-Time Governance (RTG), launched the service in Amaravati, highlighting its aim to deliver government services directly to citizens. This initiative, created in collaboration with Meta, is expected to grow further by incorporating blockchain and AI technologies for improved digital governance.
