division

Swaminathan, who joined WHO in October 2017, has been replaced by
Zsuzsanna Jakab, currently regional director, WHO Europe.

The center is all set to launch a national portal 'I-STEM' of publicly-funded
research facilities and equipment.
It will enable easy and timely access of resources to researchers working
anywhere in the country.
The web portal is developed by scientists from the Indian Institute of Science
(IISc), Bengaluru and is expected to be officially launched soon.
ISRO experts will receive training for the 'Gaganyaan' project at Toulouse Space
Centre, France from March 2019.
The experts will also be trained at CADMOS, the center for development of
microgravity applications and space operations, and MEDES Space Clinic in
France.
The space agencies of India and France signed an agreement to build a
constellation of satellites for maritime surveillance.
