In Italian Open Tennis, Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan won the women's singles title defeating Ukraine’s Anhelina Kalinina 6-4, 1-0, on 20th May at theInternazionali BNL d’Italia in Rome.

It was Rybakina's second title of the year. With this, Rybakina won the fifth singles title of her career. 7th seed Rybakina defeated 30th seed Kalinina to win the trophy. Kalinina was ruled out of the final due to a left thigh injury. The men's singles final of the tournament will be played between Denmark's Holger Rune and Russia's Daniil Medvedev in Rome.
